Dame Evelyn Glennie
“My music education was the foundation to my career as the world’s first full time solo percussionist. As a sound creator I recognise the fun, stimulation, therapeutic and social benefits of using everyday items such as boomwhackers to bring out the creativity from within ourselves. I have used them in a variety of capacities from educational events, live performances and film scores – wherever the imagination takes them!”
